The aim of fertisuisse is to offer our patients the best possible medical care on their way to their dream child - sound, individual and based on the latest scientific findings. Trust, expertise and the close link between precise diagnostics and customized treatment are at the heart of everything we do. We are convinced that only if all steps are carefully coordinated can we sustainably improve the prospects of success and at the same time ensure safe, respectful treatment.
In order to live up to our claim, we rely on the continuous professional development of our entire team, regular internal and external quality controls and the use of state-of-the-art medical technologies - both in diagnostics and in our highly specialized laboratories. Our laboratories are accredited to the highest standards, meet all legal requirements and are equipped with the most advanced technology. This guarantees not only safety, but also maximum efficiency in all phases of treatment.
The entire fertisuisse team works with high precision and great commitment. We not only analyze complex medical findings thoroughly, but also communicate them clearly - the basis for individually tailored treatment that takes into account the needs and requirements of each couple.
In the field of andrology, we carry out comprehensive ejaculate analyses and prepare sperm specifically for further use in reproductive medicine. At the same time, all steps of assisted fertilization are carried out in our IVF and ICSI clean room laboratory - from egg cell preparation to the injection of the sperm cell into the egg cell. The resulting embryos are cultivated under strictly controlled conditions in specially developed incubators - up to the so-called blastocyst stage, the stage of development at which embryo transfer is particularly promising.
The use of time-lapse incubators enables our embryologists to observe the development of each embryo in real time without disturbing the cultivation conditions. A high-resolution image is recorded every five minutes - over a period of five to six days, a detailed time-lapse film is created that allows the dynamics of cell division to be precisely analyzed. The information obtained in this way provides important information on the development potential of the embryo and helps to select those embryos that offer the highest chances of a successful pregnancy.
Time-lapse technology also creates the conditions for carrying out pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGT). If necessary - for example in women over 37 years of age or in couples with genetic diseases in the family - individual cells can be removed from the embryo's membrane and genetically examined. This so-called trophectoderm biopsy makes it possible to identify chromosomal abnormalities or monogenic diseases before the embryo is transferred to the uterus. This can reduce the risk of miscarriage and potentially shorten the time until the birth of a healthy child. The cells taken for genetic analysis come from the area that will later become the placenta - the embryo itself remains intact.
If embryos are not to be transferred immediately, for example as part of a planned staged treatment or in preparation for a later pregnancy, we use the tried and tested vitrification procedure. During vitrification, the embryos are frozen so quickly that no ice crystals can form in the cell walls. The embryo cells remain crystal clear, which is why vitrification is called vitrification. The embryos can be used at a later date without any loss of quality - a safe and proven procedure that allows flexibility in terms of time and circumstances.
